I just bought an '07 Legacy SE. In my last Subie, I had installed an aftermarket Sirius radio receiver. This Legacy has the capability for XM through the factory radio, but I want Sirius. The dealer told me that they can only hook up XM on the US version, but on Japanese versions they use Sirius. Since this is a lease, I want to keep it as factory as possible. Does anyone know if it is possible to get Sirius through the factory radio? I really don't want to buy an aftermarket HU or Sirius receiver.

there were rumors i heard, that the XM box can be replaced with a sirius box. even the antenna connectors and the antenna can be kept.

but i could never confirm it.
