Security systems

Any recommendations on what's good / what works / what to consider / etc.?

My Impreza is coming very soon and I'd like to keep it 'mine' as much as possible.

Not looking for anything overly dramatic or outrageous. I think the 2-way pager stuff is a little out of my budget.

I agree, this is what I have with the 2 way pager and it works great. It tells me when my alarm is going off or if sensor was triggered. Also the ones with remote start have a built in turbo timer.

I've got a Viper and love it. I forget the model number, 750 I think. Anyway, all the wiring is black, and the control box is hidden. It has the motion, impact, and incline sensors. It's a very solid system, and I have had no problems with mine. I don't have the remote start, trunk opener, or a turbo timer. Good luck.
