Security System Issues?
I got a question...
On my 2.5rs I have the little box by the e brake and the sticker on my window, so I have the upgraded security system right?
I was wondering because if I open the door with the key or anything like that it doesnt do anything.
All i can do is lock the doors and hit the panic button that I know of.

Is the system in valet mode? If it is the security light on the dash will be flashing constantly in a "blink-blink-stop" sequence. In valet mode the alarm will not go off if the key is used to open the door.
If it is in valet mode, you can cancel it by holding down the unlock button on the remote with the drivers door open.
If it's not that there may be something wrong with your alarm.

Not sure what kind of alarm you have, but technically the alarm should go off if you open the door with your key while in valet mode. You should have to disable your alarm before doing so, so if it's not going off like you say maybe it'd be best to get it checked up on.
