safety film

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge with this? I read about safety film applied over glass to help prevent burglary from another forum.

A lot of ppl have pointed out the dangers of being trapped in their cars and driving off into a body of water, but what are the chances? Slim to none in most of our lives. If you happened to get into an accident and fall unconscious what are your own chances of being able to kick out the window? Besides eventually our windows will bend enough for a window escape.

This is directed more towards vandalism or theft. Chances are high for smash n grab or stealing a car especially with the economy now. I've heard stories on here and hopefully this will open some eyes on preventing thieves.

Thumbs down

I'll take my chances, with vandals and thieves, I can always buy more stuff but I only have one life. What does it do to prevent a slim jim. I've seen some pretty smooth people with one of those.

70% of the time my car is in my garage, 15% I'm driving it, and 15% I park it in a smart place (ie not a dark alley). BTW get a GOOD shock sensored Car Alarm, for those times you can't park in a smart spot.

Good idea though I might put that stuff on my house.
