Yes it's a pain, I ended up taking almost the whole day just to run them. You have to take alot of things apart to get a clear shot through the rubber boot, I ended up using a thin wire lead and pushing that through then taping the wire to the end and fishing it. Unless you are prepared for alot of work, I suggest either getting it done professionally or just splicing into the stock wiring as close to the doors as possible. I know it ain't pretty, but many do it and it works. BTW I used 16awg up to the doors (From the amps) and then 18awg thru the doors. 16awg just wouldn't go.
