I just have a question for all of the audiophiles on the board. I rode in my friends Nissan Frontier truck the other day that has the optional Rockford Fosgate 2-din Head-unit and stereo package! It sounded awesome!!

So is there anyway to put this headunit in my WRX?? or is it just to big of a hassle? I already looked at Fosgates site and they have no aftermarket dual din headunits for retail sale! I also like the nissan unit becasue it is also a in dash 6-changer just like our suby's.

The one problem is that the front speakers are 1 ohm @ 72 watts. Would you have to have simalar one ohm speakers to make it worth while?

I suppose you could install it, but getting the wiring right would be a huge PITA. You'd have to splice into the wiring as no harness would allow you to go from Nissan-Subaru(though perhaps you could make a custom one?). I'd say it's more trouble than it's worth, but if you wanna give it a shot by all means go for it.
