Alpine is hands down the way to go. I've had 4.
Right now I have a 9815 and a 7987...one of them is getting sold...probably the 7987.
If you go another direction here are my other thoughts.
Eclipse. Go high end and they are top notch.
Blaupunkt. Some of the best sounding high end equipment you can get....but it's ugly.
Pioneer Premier series.....they are last on my list but they make some really cool HU.

I can't decide if I want to run that or the 9815.....errrrrrr. It's gonna be up on top of my dash in the guage pod cause I have a mattjk screen and the no removeable face is freaking me out.
