Rare JDM LCD monitor

I was on nasioc the other day and i saw a flip up lcd screen that goes where the clock is at and the seller said it was from japan. i was wondering anyone would know what i was talking about or know where i might be able to get one. thanks

I'd like to see someone make a 7 inch housing for the clock area.

from that design.. it looks like you'd loose the center vents??

i'm pretty sure you won't since it's an OEM unit. if i remember correctly the lower monitor support is on a rail so the whole unit folds flat when closed.
i saw a thread on one of the boards where someone made one similar to the one found in the IS300 w/ a 7 inch monitor.
