Did you guys reprogram your detectors to ignore k and x bands? I live in Cali and every time i see a K band it ends up being nothing. Almost every time I get a Ka I end up seeing a cop. What the hell is the point of k or x band? I hear about "bogeys" and such from valentine, but most of the time a bogey is an f'n automatic door. Has anyone ever run into a K-band that was actually a cop?

 

I use my V1 to locate Safeway stores. Works like a charm...

 

If I were you I'd remove the X band all together. K band is not widely used for speed enforcement. You will find it in smaller towns. They get the remnants of yesteryear. Ka would most certainly be something to worry about.

 

I see a lot of radar activated warning signs using the K-band.

 

yeah after a few days of driving around with only ka and laser on, I like my v1 much more. It was driving me crazy when it beeped every minute or so to alert me about A F@#$in door. Now whenever it goes off, i know its actually important.

HEllo all THe v1 is a very touchy device, If you live within a large city, should program your V1 to L mode, (Logic mode). If you have any trouble ,let me Know.....

 

Ka is always a cop.
K is sometimes a door but i have seen on more than one occasion it being a staionary radar detector. The ones they set up that are trailers. Also some photo radars at stop lights sometimes sets off my K band too. I have seen it more than once. Keep the K band!!!!!!! X band is definately a joke. I drive a lot!!! And I know my V1 pretty well.

Also K band alerts me from those construction signs and the solar emergency phones on the side of the freeway. Annoying beeps????? Or $$$$$$ for a ticket. I can live with beeps. Its well worth it to me!!!!
