power for speakers/subs?

Okay so i am looking to go out this weekend to purchase a sound system for an STI that i will soon be buying. However i have heard that even running the A/C can jst kill the cars power... so im wondering what a new sound system may do to it? anyone have any feedback? thanks- mattyd

shouldn't do anything, A/C kills power the same way it does in any other car, cause it's something that has to be directly run by the engine. Stereo's power comes from the battery whereas the A/C is powered by the belt run by the motor so power is robbed from it. At least that's the way i understood it?
