Poor AM/FM reception in my 04 rex

Does anyone know how I can get a better signal in my 2004 wrx? I know it is due to the tint I had put onto the rear window, but is there a way I can have the tint and a good radio signal besides ripping the tint out and installing ceramic tint?

Either replace the tint, or replace the antenna with one that isn't in the window.

Wink fixed

I am fairly sure your rear powered antenna module is on the passenger side behind the plastic on the rear pillar. (might be drivers side?) Find that and unplug the wire from that to your rear window and you will have better reception, may not be stock but way better than it is now.

This has been a long issue for aftermarket HU's.
With Stock HU, all is ok since it is powering up the antenna in the rear window but with aftermarket HU's, ust make sure you connect the att wire to ur harness, or to the switched 12v current. And that would make ur antenna work like before.
