Need help with this car alarm

What did you think...????

Crimestopper is proud to introduce our improved CS-2015FM Informer™ for 2003. When it comes to security, convenience, remote starting and 2 Way FM paging, the Informer system has all of the above. With its groundbreaking Dot Matrix screen design, the CS-2015FM stays ahead of the rest, hands down. Step up to a system that uses a fully animated, real time, graphic LCD screen instead of that "painted" icon LCD screen the competition is using. With more new features for 2003, the Informer™ maintains the status quo as the flagship of Crimestopper's 2-Way FM paging technology.

I just bought that alarm a few days ago. With shipping, that was about the price i paid. We'll see if it's crap or not once i get it installed (which looks like a major undertaking in and of itself).

Honestly i haven't installed it yet. I purchased it when i purchased my car stereo. I've been spending most of time time on the stereo and havn't done this yet. I'll let you know when i do.

Flipping through the manual, it seems as if it'll take some close attention to detail to install the alarm (ie messing with factory wiring). Personally the remote start install looks scarry. I was thinking about just not installing that part and/or getting some help by an expirienced mechanic before i attempt it. The other parts don't seem that bad (except maybe the relays, but i'll learn about that when i get there :P )
