Kill switch
Anyone ever rig up a ignition kill switch to a 02'RS? I was thinking of doing this dont know the best way to do this. I thought of cuting the start wire near the key and putting a relay there. I also was thinking that that was easy to bypass. So then I thought of useing the clutch switch as my break. If the computer didnt get the clutch pressed signal the car wouldnt start. Anyone know where I could tap that switch? Any help or suggestions are welcomed and apprecated.

I would just go with the relay, however use a cheap ignition switch, with a removable key. And hide the ****er. That's what I had when I had my 91' Trans Am, just took out the kill switch key at the end of the night. Just have to hide it well.

I just dont want to put the relay in the steering collum. And thats the only place i know where to pick up the ignition wire. The reason I dont want to put the relay there is when some one goes to jumper the key back of they the would see the relay and jumper that too. The collum is way to easy to get in to, one screw and some clips. although I guess you may be talking about useing a heavy duty relay at the starter its self. That would work. But im still would like to look in to spliceing in a relay into the clutch switch.
