I would like to improve my lows and have decided to take a stab at building a box under the passenger seat (currently have a 4-channel amp for the speakers located under the driver seat). I have searched (on nasioc) and found that a few people ditched the idea of the woox or sw1 and clarion equivalent for an underseat sub. I need all the trunk space I can get so a sub in the trunk is not really an option.

I couldn't find dimensions for a box and was wondering if someone could tell me the dimensions of their box and width of wood used etc. This will be for an 03 wrx.

Also wanted some recommendations on an amp to power the sub. This will most likely be placed in the trunk since I've pretty much used up the usuable cabin space.

Open to any recommendations for other subs to use for my application or just list your underseat sub setup.
