Just thought I'd share-- here are some pictures showing a couple of JL Audio amps (500/1 and 300/2) and a 10w6v2 sub in a need4speedpower enclosure, grill from Parts Express. Alpine headunit.

I didn't have the hardware or space to cut the MDF so I had a shop run the wires and do the installation. 4 and 8 gauge wires from the battery to each amp. Overall they did a good job.

The sound is much cleaner now, and I can feel the bass. I can see it too, as evidenced by my shaking rear view mirror lol

 

It's a nice clean install. If you don't mind me asking how much did they charge you?

 

Total was $160 including wiring for power and front speakers, fiberboard with carpeting. I took out the back seats -- dunno if I got a discount for that lol. I was there for most of it, and after examining afterwards I concluded I could not have done a better job at the time even if I had the equipment.
