How would this sound? Need help... =(
Wassup everyone? Got a quick question, Im currently trying to improve my sound system in my car but wasnt going to go all out, so this is what I have:
- rockford fosgate component system FNP2614 for the fronts/ tweaters.
-rockford fosgate punch FRC4306 for the rears.
I was going to get a 2 channel rockford amp to power the fronts and use the Stock WRX head unit to power the rears.
How would this set up do big improvement?
and How much would a new head unit improve this set up, or am I ok with out it.
Thanx for your help I appreciate it!!!!

I would change the head unit, most of the aftermarket head units are alot better than the stock one. If you are going to replace your fronts and rears I would get a 4 channel amp. It will sound much better.
I would change the HU and get a decent 4 channel amp. It will allow you to power both the front and rears, w/the option to run the rears off the deck and add a sub.
As for speakers I would definitely recommend listening to some others. Thats the only way to find the best choice for you. I personally have yet to hear any RF components that were worth the money, but if you like the way they sound playing your flavor of music go for it!
I'd say grab some music and check out different shops and listen to whatever is in your price range. The better speaker manufacturers (Boston, MBquart, Focal, etc) all make lower level components that sound decent. Check them out.
