How Do You Disconnect The Stock Alarm

How Do You Disconnect The Stock Alarm

Well, I got my STI for 27,900 dollars. . . with 7,000 miles on it. . .i got the keys. . .but no alarm remote. . .so everytime I open my car the alarm goes off. i know how to turn it off. . .the question is. . .

How do you disconnect the stock alarm???

disconnect alarm, or go on ebay and buy used remotes and have the dealer reset them to your car

the alram should be in the center console, also there is a module under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. They are both labeled. You should be able to just unplug them both.

Actually in the STi, the security module is behind the glovebox and not in the console. But, be sure that is what you are disconnecting as there are other modules behind there.
I agree with Nerdy though, you can just buy some replacement remotes and have them programmed (or do it yourself).
