help some prob with pioneer avh-p6400cd ....

hey guys, i just installed this into my 03 wrx. everything works fine besides when i switch to video mode theres some white lines that runs through the screen from left to right and the sound has some static noises.

-first i think bad wires/cables so i went and get some gold rca connectors. problem is still there ...

-then i thought of just connecting it directly to the source because i was using some cable extensions ...still the same

i'm also thinking of because i have to find a better ground? but it even does it while my park is park and the engine is off.

the last thing that i can think of is if the audio/video wires have some signal interferring (?) with something.

if anybody had this kind of prob. running your indash headunit?

anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

btw; my av source is comming from ps2. and i tried to use a regular dvd player and still the same prob.

i know that there is nothing wrong with the unit because this came out of an crx and there was nothing wrong with it when we pulled it out from my friends car.

i'll take a pic of it in a bit to show you guys whats happening.

chris

take the 'video wire' and attach it to any metal part of your car. That is what they mean by "grounding" it.
