I've searched high and low but came up empty. Does anyone know how to remove the CD player in an 05 Baja? I need to get behind it to hardwire an XM radio.

I've found instructs for the WRX, starting with removing two screws behind the cup holder... The Baja doesn't have a cup holder in the dash.

the wrx's front face panel that holds the radio/storage slot just pulls out. dont know how the 05 models are.

but the 2 screws for the cup holder makes removing that face panel easier...

i bet the face panel of the baja is just held on the dash by 4-6 friction fit fasteners...
