help! anyone know how to remove 2000RS tail lights?
i just got white/red jdm tail lights.
BUT my old stock ones won't come out. i unscrewed all the bolts but it still won't come out.
is it that black gooey tar crap that's holding in it? if so.. what should i do?

yes its the black goey tar, thats what seals them. A heat gun or a dryer on them should loosen the black garbage enough for you to pull out the taillights. I think you will need some more of that stuff to reseal it but i cant help you there

Stick a Hair Dryer on High around the lights...Spend like 10minutes heating it up...Then take a hammer and hit the studs really flat and square and work around the light...It will pop out and then you can just pull it out...Be careful not to let the black goo drip on your bumper...You need to then transfer over the metal trim at the bottom of the lights and apply some 3m Weather Strip Sealant...
