I'm going to replace the stock stereo/cd player in the RS, and I'm looking for a little advice. First of all, I'm not super extreme stereo guy, I just have the stock speakers and the 80W sub under the seat, so I don't need the top of the line. I just want something that will take full advantage of the stock speakers and can play mp3s and has a radio tuner. It would be nice if the screen were green too, but that's not a big concern. I pretty much just want to get what I can off ebay for $150 or less with no surprizes. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Has 3 pre-amp outs, 1 for front speakers, 1 for rear, and 1 just for the sub(s).
One top of that, I needed the dash stereo pocket from the dealer for $28 (the impreza pocket has no drop down face, but the forester does, either one works), and the wiring harness so I didn't have to cut any wires on the car.
If you live in the bay area I could help you out, its super easy to do stereo on imprezas.
EDIT: Just noticed your in Ohio =x Sorry, but still its easy to do the install.
Take out the cup holder above the stereo(2 screws), the trim around the stereo has the cool subaru v-snaps, it just pops right off, then you should have 4-6 screws holding the DIN bracket, unscrew then your deck is out.
