headunit questions

hey guys i was wondering..is 2004-2005 STi stereo install kit compatible with the 07 STi's? because i got a headunit that i been wanting to throw in but i don't know if i can get the 05 ones to fit my car..thanks for the help!

so i would be ok if i buy the 04-05 headunit housing with the little spot to put my cd's?

yes u can. They use the same brackets and the same sized radio opening. It is called a double din.
