hair trigger remote transmitter

I got a '05 WRX 3 weeks ago. I love the car, but does anyone else feel that the factory remote on the new Subis is REALLY poorly designed?

I have used MANY other remote transmitters and never had one with so many inadvertant button presses. I've accidently set off the car's alarm more than once (not good at 6AM) just from having the transmitter brush against something. (it probably triggered the panic mode)

It may be that the transmitter is poorly designed with springs that are too light (too little resistance) and buttons that are too large and/or unprotected. It seems like they shouldn't be activated just by brushing agaisnt it.

Anyone else feel this way?

not really, the buttons are concave so you have to press them to activate it...
