I just purchased and installed an eclipse avn5435 navigation system in my STI. The unit is awesome. The navigation is very accurate. The only slight problem I have with it now, is that there isn't enough AM/FM presets that can be stored in the memory. I can only store 6 FM and 6 AM stations. Am I overlooking something? I know most decks can at least store 12 FM and AM stations each.

Has anyone with this system figured out a way to store more than 6?

just play around with it.
your owners manual will tell you how many presets your unit can handle.

typically you have two or three FM presets (each with 6) and one AM (with 6)
unless you are traveling alot or are in different areas with different radio stations i wouldnt worry too much about all the extra presets.

 

no you didnt miss anything. it only has 6 fm and 6 am thats it.
