hey everyone. this is a random question without much importance. i've just always wondered about which car alarm company is the best/preferred.

I personally have the Compustar 2WSS-AS on my 2002 wrx and i love it. A friend of mine has the Viper 971vx on his integra and I like it too (cooler remote).

Now for Compustar, you sacrifice the better looking remote for the uglier remote because of the extra range the ugly remote gives.

Dont really know much about Clifford.

I leaned towards Compustar because of the Awards they won on their spread spectrum technology. The distance was really important to me.

So, what alarms do you guys prefer? Dont go throwing in things you dont know. Just facts. I REALLY wanna know which alarm is better.

 

Anything by directed is good. Clifford is there higher model. I had the clifford pager alarm with remote start on my wrx and it worked great, never had any problems. Has a really long range and if you are going for a cool looking remote you can get them in different colors.
