What you can't see are the Monster Cable Patch cords, Rockford Fosgate amp kit, MB Quart DSD 216 components in the front and MB Quart DSD213 components in the rear.
Sounds pretty good, but I need more power to the sub. I'll upgrade to a seperate amp for the sub in the near future.
thanks for looking.

I would check if the cap is charged properly before going with a bigger one. Typically, you can use a 1F cap for up to 1000W. Sometimes, the cap doesn't charge all the way up and seemingly get stuck and stops workin. Some of them are supposed to be slow charged with a resistor on place.
I had this problem with a 1F Power Flow Cap from Phoenix Gold. It would stop working and start generating noise. I would unhook it and discharge it completely by shorting to something I wanted fried. ( I DONT RECOMMEND DOING THIS, BUT IT WORKED). Strangly, I found this out by accident, because I was fiddling with it with it still hooked up (major no no!)
Moreover, check grounds and make sure that you are using at least 4 gauge wire that is hooked to the battery directly (fused of course). Also, check and make sure none, of the output speaker wires are running along side the power leads.
hope that helps, please dont electrocute yourself.

thanks rapid. The power cables and patch cords/speaker wires are running on opposite sides of the car. The grounds are securely fastened. I will try discharging and recharging the cap. The first time I only had it hooked up for 1/2 an hour. How long was your initial charge?
thanks,
joe
thanks,

I only did it for a minute or so, but I had a resistor that was supplied with the capacitor attached to it in series while it was charging the first time.
I don't have the packaging or instructions, as that install was ages ago. sorry I can't offer more help.
