Alpine vs. Polk Momo

Alpine vs. Polk Momo
I am getting an STi, and for the stereo deck I am getting either an Alpine CVA 1005 or 1006 motorized LCD screen. For the speakers should I go with Alpine or Polk/Momo? Which one has better sound?

first it depends on the series you go with, in my opinion the SPX series from Alpine is better than most Polk stuff I have heard but my Polk expirience is limited, it comes down to your personal pref. if you like bright/clean look into Alpine/MBQuartz/Boston Acoustic and a high end Polk compare them before you buy, go into Tweeter and close the door and test them out bring a few cd's and go to town!! 
also are you looking for components? Are you adding a sub? what size/power?

Just some speakers for the doors. Most likely will put in used stock WRX tweeters. I have all alpine in my Grand National and love it. Gonna go to the speaker shop to hear some polks. Would most likely get the smallest alpine 4 channel amp for the speakers.

It really depends on your style of listening. I suggest that you listen to both brands. But i would choose alpine over momo, specially if you get their high end line, the SPX-Z18T or SPX-Z25M.
They are made by scan-speak ( a danish high end speaker co. ).

Decided that I am going to get Alpine. :banana: Now I just gotta figure out where I am gonna get the money.
