I too have this headunit and I love it. I was able to flush mount the screen so it looks OEM. My only gripe is that it doesn't have as much sound tuning options that I am used to. Despite that I am satisfied with this headunit.

samurai: that's not really a glitch. it's factory spec for it to keep you from watching a dvd while driving. The only way i know to bypass that is to use something like a blackbox r2 that you can buy from stereo dealers online. I got mine on ebay for like 20 bucks. Once you get it working it works fine while driving. You can also hook up a kill switch to re-engage the lockout, just in case .

there are a few ways to bypass it the blackbox on ebay,a pac tr7 or you can do it for the price of a toggle switch the unit nees a + pulse from the foot brake and a latched ground from the ebake.... so what you do is hook up the ilumination wire from the car to the decks footbrake wire, get a toggle switch connect one side to ground and the other to the decks ebrake wire then to bypass it you turn the headlights on and off then flip the switch to ground only problem is thats what you gotta do everytime you get in the car

Looked just like mine...

before it was recently stolen...

Be careful...these all-in-one double din units are very much in demand by the chronic crackheads...easy to steal and sell because everything is built into it...(no dc-dc converter box, no separate brain)...it makes it soo much easier to steal...CRAP!!!

Take care to cover the screen or something if you have to park in a less than desireable location...

as for mine, it was stolen out of my car while parked in a supposedly "secure" gated parking structure at my work place...

It's back to a normal deck for me...don't want this happening again...

yeah i worry all the time about double din headunits like this...but..there isn't much you can do really.. if someone's determined enough they'll take it, regardless of what you do to prevent it. sorry to hear about your unit.
