Angry alarm question

well i got 03 wrx with a stock OEM subaru alarm system. well for some reason i pressed the unlock for like maybe like 5 second or so. then the lights dont blink no more when you arm or disarm the vehicle with the remote, and with the key off, on the cluster the "security" light just blinks doesnt matter if you lock or unlock the car with the remote. i tried to disconnecting the battery..... but didnt work. i tried disconnecting the the alarm module.... still doesnt work. i am just wondering if anyone has experienced this? is there a reset procedure for this?????? thanks

I think you put it in Valet mode. Check the car owner's manual; it explains things pretty well.

Yep it's in valet mode. Do exactly what you did again, and it will return to normal mode. Open the drivers door and press the unlock button on the remote for several seconds.
