yes.

the actual element is buried on the rear window. the connector is there. it may have fallen back there in the dash area. look for the standard black coax cable with the standard motorola end...

i also heard from other people that the antenna is a powered one and if you dont wire up the the harness correctly, i.e. cut the wires from harness and hardwire them yourself, you may not be getting the proper signals...

suggest you buy $15 wiring harness from circuit city.

also, circuit city sells another wiring adapter harness that plugs directly into the back of your head unit so you dont have to use any butt connectors which, if you are like me, can sometimes fail...

so everything is plug and play...

Yes there's an amp for the antenna under the C pillar cover on the driver's side. It is a powered antenna so the wiring harness is a good play.
