I was wondering how much these engines can handle in stock form. I've seen adjustable kits from Edelbrock for 30, 50 and 70 hp increases. Just thinking out loud and wanted some input from someone who has some experience with this sort of thing. Thanks.
i dont have a wrx. I have a 98 impreza with a 2.5 motor in it. (not the sti motor) I have it turbo charged at 6psi and I have a 100 shot nos system on it. So it has a 10-1 compression, boost and nos. I have no problems except my valve covers seep a little oil when i spray (not even enough to make a drop on the floor). Too much pressure i guess. ne way. just to give you an idea of the strenght of a subie motor. might wanna search around for a wrx specific experiences. just my 2cents
I've run 120 hp Direct port kit, 60 hp and 75 shot single fogger kit on my honda before... but i haven't seen anyone run nitrous on a WRX yet... but i would suggest running a wet kit (nos & gas) instead of a Dry kit(nos only)
