Taking a VACA to Phoenix-need info

I am taking a vacation to PHX, I was wondering if their is any tracks available on or around Aug 17-23. Also of their is any decent shops to visit? Any information is very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Firebird raceway is open every Fri night so you can go race there. And there are always a million things to do here.

I am hoping to be able to take my car "out" to the track. I wanted to visit some shops like vivid racing, maybe versus ( I hope it is still of 17) you know maybe I can convince my wife to purchase some items.

Versus is off the I-17 and Thomas road now. And my friend has his own shop on 35th ave and Thomas road. He drives a fast WRX.

Where are these shops located at? Some idiot proof directions would help. Rally stuff would be intersting. But we shall see what the wife will approve

Don't know of any good dealerships here. If you have any mods, they say your warranty is voided.
