yes, i've seen steve's construction going on in macau...
and of course can't wait until wynn's open in vegas (shouldn't it be open already?)...
but i dunno. the mentality here is just very different. asians are HUGE gamblers.. but they like tables more than slots. in both the sands and lisboa, they've got tons and tons and tons of tables and not much for slots...
though i have to say: having a nonsmoking floor and a smoking floor separated out makes for a more pleasant atmosphere.... despite the hacking and spitting from the mainlanders

eh... so it's written as 1000+ sq foot
but in hk that means not a whole lot.
actual usable space i'd say is about 700-800sq ft...

i wasn't kidding when i said the building's tall and skinny and ish didn't believe me. i'd say at most it's like 40x25
i have the whole floor and the 1000+ sq ft that they write as my apartment space includes corridor to my apartment, elevator area, and stairwell.... so yeah...

the first shot's a view from my apartment. you can see the hk race track (for horses, not cars) from my window...
the second one is a view of kowloon from the hk side....

 

ok. and here's hk... in the day and at night and in bw all taken off my camera tonight
