hey luke, where in the tri-cities do you live?
i live in JC - boones creek to be exact.
at most 1 1/2 hrs from ktown. i go down there about once a month or so.
ride revolutions/motor maverick suck!
anyways, i was at the NOPI show, i was surprised to see how many wrx and stis was out. awesome.

It's my birthday and I have bought a turbo back exhaust for myself. What a nice guy I am 
It will be a couple of weeks before it arrives and i needed to know if anyone knows of a place close to K-town that will do the install for me. I called all the dealers and they said "No after market installs due to legal restrictions..bla..bla..bla." Thanks for any help.

I would guess that any good muffler shop would do it for relatively cheap. I'm assuming that it is just a bolt on that requires no welding. If so, it is very simple to put on yourself. I put on a catback and a new header on my gc. It was easy, except that I needed a grinder to cut off a few bolts.

Air-cooled classics/speedsport engineering can install it for you. They're in the yellow pages. Several other exhaust shops can install it (as noted above). If you want the best possible job, get Dale Teague from Boxer4racing (in Asheville) to install it, website at www.boxer4racing.com . Prestige Subaru in NC also does all sorts of performance upgrades (don't know their website, but I know they have one). I installed mine with help from my dad, but it is not something I would attempt without help (someone to curse with). home that helps

Decided to do the install myself. I'll check out those places when I get around to upgrading the harder stuff. The install was easy save for 1 bolt that my friend and I had to grind off so it would fit on downpipe. We all need to get together sometime. I will buy some food..(steaks, potatoes, salad, ect..) if any one is interested in hosting then let me know. If steak is not your thing then I will get a couple soy (yuck!) burgers.

I got a decent deal from Earl Duff Subaru for my trade-in and the car itself. List Price was 31,778 and they gave me 9239 for my trade-in (2000 Chevy Xtreme). I had gone to Grayson Subaru on Fridaybecause they were getting a shipment in. They gave us the same deal roughly, but a few bucks less on my trade-in. They were very aggressive and lied to us about a few things there. Not a good sales department at all (and I've heard horrid stuff about their service). Earl Duff on the other hand was VERY laid back and honest. Our salesman (Rocky---great guy, so is Tim Duff the Sales Manager) was very helpful and didn't try to feed me any BS about the car. He worked with me on pricing for around 2 weeks...first by email then over the phone. It's an awesome dealership and I would say it's the best in the E. Tennessee area.

yeah Rocky knows alot about subaru stuff. I live about 5 min from the dealership. We gotta do a get together. I will still buy some food and stuff if any one wants to host it. I would but space is very limited here in the apt. 
There is a spot where some modded cars meet up at around here in Kingston called "The Gravel Pit." Mostly mustangs and hondas. There are 3 of us who cruise around there from time to time to let em know who runs the show...lol.
