I was just curious if there were any memfricans on here. I have talked to a few on memphisracingscene.com before they decided to take it down or do whatever it is their doing to it. Anyway I was curious who all lived in or near memphis.

I also live in Memphis, TN how's it hangin'? Haven't seen many WRX's in the area, have you checked out any SCCA autocross events? I moved here last year and haven't had a chance to attend one yet due to my work schedule
Hey no i have not checked out any scca events yet. I want to eventually though. Just havent gotten around to it because of my work scedual also.
anywho it's nice to see another memphia on here. Well maybe i'll run into ya around town sometime. I am always around town. You can miss my WRCX. I have a Carbon fiber hood and a carbon fiber wing on the back.

So far the only thing I have done is K&N filter (who would buy a paper filter anymore?), Bridgestone RE950's and new windshield wipers. I live in Collierville, what about you?
Well so far I have installed a
Thermal cat-back exhaust
injen cold air intake
Turbo xs RFL blow off valve
Corbeau forza II seats with 3 point harnesses
Carbon fiber hood
Carbon fiber wing
hopefully soon I will be getting a up pipe and down pipe installed
Now that i listed all that stuff it sems I have done more to my car than i relized.
Anyway I live in east memphis. Well almost to the border of germantown now.

Sounds like some pretty good mods, have you checked out
Cobb's website yet? I thought about a ECU reflash stage II as my first major mod to get the most bang for the buck.

Yea funny you should say that. I was jsut looking at that site. Yea an ecu is definately worth getting. I need to get one myself.

I never checked out the memphis racing site but the I did sign up to the forums to keep up with the local Memphis stuff, thanks for the info.

I am going to be up at tnt thrusday 6-5 but I will be riding with a friend since my clutch is still messed up
. My wrx is up at subaru waiting for a new clutch to come in.
I should be up at the track sometime in july. I guess that should give me enough time to break in the clutch.
I will finally have tiems I can tell someone. Everyone asks me what my times are and I have to tell them I have none yet lol.
After I get my up and down(which I still have to buy) pipe installed (once I cna figure out who can do it. I will go back to the track to see if there is any difference?
Anyway it's good to see some people in and near memphis on here. It's always good to see another WRX rolling around town. That just one less ricer we have on the road hahahaha

I can tell you, since I did it myself, that the uppipe install is a pain in the ***. The downpipe install is not too bad. It took me about 8 hours to install them both....6 1/2 hours went to the uppipe. Don't think I'll make TNT on 6-5, but let me know when you plan on taking your car and I'll try to make time to go.
yea I'll let ya know when i take the car up there. Can you recomend a good place that would install the up and down pipe for me? I definately do not have the time to do it myself since I picked up a seccond job blah .
