i got it for 100 bucks. basically i got ripped off cuz i didn't research enough. the head unit i bought "alpine 9857" that just came out this year doesn't require the ipod interface box, it just requires a 30 dollar cable. i'd return this thing, but it says all sales are final on the receipt.

alpine 9856 and before, (basically all headunits 2005 and older) need this box for connecting the 20pin to the ipod to listen to uncompressed music and to be able to control the ipod from the deck, as long as they have the AI-NET compatability on their deck.

i'm asking for 90 bucks picked up, or 100 dropped off. Box has been opened, but unit and cables are still sealed within their plastic wraps.

i prefer pickup, but can arrange to meet or drop off if you are within a reasonable distance. i'm in riverside.

it comes with the box (unit itself) a cable to hook up to your alpine headunit, and a cable to hook up to your ipod. it charges your ipod while your car is on either ACC, or ON.
