They are the wings that you see on the front bumper on the EVO.. Canards are always (at least in the aircraft world) called the horizontal wings that are placed at the front of the airplane, usually a bit back from the nose... See pic below:

That being said.. You might as well call those the front wings on the EVO cause it looks over done.

My next question would be.... Does nissan run their JGTC car in teh wind tunnel? Does that EVO team put their car through the wind tunnel?
look at this picture a DTM that had made contact with someone else, as you can see the first to go is the canards, but the panels may be damaged but its still there.

I know that JGTC cars are tested through the windtunnels, the cyber evo on the other hand i'm not sure but my assumption is they do but they windtunnel testing but its limited.
