i know this is a stretch, but they can make you register the game online and use the code on the back of the ps3 in order for you to play the game. extremely bad for marketing but thats juan way to control piracy.

that would suck for regular game.. i can understand the use of key for mmorpg online gaming because they don't want you to share game. 1 key 1 account.
but that would be a pain in the butt to do for every game.

well i know of a few import game shops. there is a guy in the area that does mod chips, all the other places i knew are gone. there will always a way to break copy protection, it will happen in due time. even if sony were to come out with "special" media (which i doubt...but such as dreamcast or gamecube did) there are also ways around this, or you can just buy the same media and burn and play...
