Who has actually been pulled over because of the drag-net (profiling "modified looking" cars)? I have to write an argument essay and I'm doing it on the profiling of modified looking cars. I need an interview as a source but those are kind of hard to come by on this subject....so I'm going to make this count as one.

1) what kind of car do you drive?

2) is it modified?
-if so, what are the mods?

3) did the cop pull you over for a technicality (ie: failed to use turn signal) or did he claim to pull you over because he "suspected your car was modified"?

4) how long did the whole process take?

5) was the cop full of crap? (asking what the parts on an STi are red, asking if it came with an intercooler)

6) what was a cops attitude? was he an ******* or was he cool about it?

6) he was cool. he actually told me that he hasn't seen one like mine and that it sounded good. but insisted that i still deserved a ticket for it.

2.) Yes, basic mods but the ones that you can only tell by looking at it is coilovers and an TBE.
3.) He pulled me over for being too loud.
4.) took like 15 minutes
5.) he was full of crap. when i opened my hood he said "wow this is really fixed up" i was like huh? obviously he never saw a subaru before
6.) he was kind of being an a-hole.

I've been pulled over 8 times. Only once I got an fix-it ticket and it wasn't too bad. My car was just too loud.

no he didnt ask anything he just looked at it hard

he was cool no fix it tickets that i didnt deserve
ie bulb or front plate

He pulled me over because he thought I was speeding.

didnt even bother it looks worse than stock my aveo got me into more trouble

I don't think she had a clue...She got me for my stock HID's...she also got me for being too low to the ground, modified exhaust, excessively loud exhaust (bunch of bs if you've heard my car), no front plate, tinted windows, obstructed view of the front windshield,
