I watched WRC, and then I was like... wow. Horsepower/dollar $25000 = 227 hps. And ya, the scoop. Wanted a stationwagon with like a tv in it and still faster than most car.

i liked the old school 2.5rs's, and for the price, this car was the best at the time.

and i still think it is.

wrx = awesome platform to start on.
ie. stock +vf34 setup + tuning = $2000 and that adds quite a bit of ponies for daym cheap than id spend 2000 on a honda.
wrx + swaybars + springs + wheels and sticky tires (my setup) = descent handling and oversteer fun on the canyons.

I was always a fan of WRC(like kenshin01). I was planning to buy a 2.5 rs, until I saw that they were bringing the turbocharged WRX over to the US. So I waited and bought my WRX in 01'. I've been modding the car ever since. I started with canyon driving, then autoX, and now I try and do more road racing on big tracks. The car was made to be driven... right? , but I've never done the 1/4 mile...

I bought my WRX b/c I am too young to drive a luxury car and I like the bov and the rumble of the exhaust. Didn't really know too much about the performance of AWD when I bought it as long as I could make it go woosh it was all good.
