what kind of code puller does everyone use
Delta Dash
Rating :10
There isn't a more comprehensive product on the market right now. The only downside would be having to have a laptop in the car, or for some to just own a laptop.
datalogging, road dyno, reset ECU's, check CEL's and their meanings, sensor info.... Then if you get an ecutek reflash, you can change settings on your map and more...

As for other software that can "change ECU parameters" I dont think there is anything out there for the average consumer. If there was, we would all be over it and there wouldn't be a need for anything on the market currently.

Question though, are you comfortable enough to tune yourself? I mean do you know anything about engine management? It's not something that you can just install and go about your business like nothing. Especially dont expect to be making power immediatly. Well I guess thats where a piggy back like the Xede or UTEC comes in handy. The basemaps cna at least get you started...
I had a LINK for my WRX, and liked it. But at the same time it didn't make for a good daily driver setup in my case. The moment humid weather hit, it would act up. Temperature changes also affected it quite a bit.
Whatever your decision, good luck.

Well where I live there is no AWD dyno. So that would mean converting to 2WD for tuning purposes. I'm not made of money
What I did was use different tools available to me at the time. I purchased a Wideband O2 kit, I had some road dyno software, and many many late nights doing 3rd and 4th gear pulls to redline. I do not recommend road tuning for ALL your tuning needs. I think dyno time is the best to get everything squared away tuning wise, and use the road for small adjustments to compensate for loads that cannot be seen on a dyno.
