going to LA this weekend. dont wanna be looking at the CEL all 6 hours long...

so please... anyone in fremont, union city, newark, hayward area, if you can pull that code and get rid of the light, that is mighty appreciated.

I know it's a little out of your way, but....

I am in Sunnyvale (Lawrence and 101) and can sneak away for a few minutes to scan/clear a code. Call me at 408-888-6045 if you get stuck.

 

If you don't want to look at it, unhook a battery, step on the brake for 10 seconds, and you're good to go. If it's serious it will come back

This is a last resort thing, because it would be nice to know what the code is

funny thing is that when i got in the car today, the CEL was gone. i havent driven it since sunday.

i wonder if the CEL will kick in during the drive...

 

You can still pull the code after its gone if it hasnt been cleared.

 

i need this too, my cel just went on last night. im pretty sure it was just a missfire cause my engine was idling funky, turned it off, then back on and all was fine
