anyone have any info on this incident? is it turning into LA freeways or somethin? here is the sig alert:

approaching Mowry Av - SigAlert issued - right lane shut down until approximately 7pm due to CHP involved shooting - SB-880 HOV restrictions lifted from Hwy-92 to Mowry Ave until scene clears - 15 CHP units on the scene and two delivery trucks ALTERNATE: I-680

 

i wonder if there's any connections with the csu hayward shooting?

 

what the heck. there was a shooting at csuebay also?

 

it was just a drive by at an empty cop car

Was driving down 880s when this happened. 10 or more CHP going flying by on both shoulders, with a few fire trucks following. Traffic was still moving fast as it just happened, and as I drove by there was a person on the ground with EMTs working on them and a CHP holding a tarp/blanket to block most of the person from ppl driving by. Didnt know that it was a shooting until I read this, but there were way to many CHP for just an accident.

Edit- THere were also Fremont PD parked at every overpass through fremont.

i drove by there before they closed part of it.... I SAW that dude laying there dead!!!!

 

I drove by it around 5:30 on my way home from work. Many rubber neckers on my side of the freeway (880N). I saw news vans all over that spot.

yeah, the traffic was crazy. i drove around it and was still late to work by a couple minutes... this was ~4PM

 

thank god i got off work early so i didnt have to deal with it. i saw it all over the news tho when i got home.
