i was wondering, how would you get a video from a console -> computer? just record it with a digital camera or do you actually hook it up to the comp?

I'm going to try that. I've also tried different settings to drift but couldn't get it.

when you enter a turn try not to go in at full gas..
aim for the right lines instead of trying to enter too fast.
use e-brake to get sideway and tap the gas to maintain the drift.

True!

Flooring the gas does not produce angle and smoke. Me and Ed figured that out last night with an underpowered NSX.

the track you choose can also help drifting. tsukuba is an ideal track (to me at least) because of the wide turns. a technical track with a lot of turns may not help you learn how to drift in the game early on
