i went from an automatic to manuel
i went from awd to rwd

i dont think there is a bigger change you can make

 

I started to play with the EVO7. I did it in 3:12. I now like the EVO7 hahaha

sorry d00d it will be a while, ed and I have moved on to gran turismo. Try to make your car drift and make a vid. We'll have scic pick who's good or what looks best

 

I dunno how to drift yet on gt4. I've been fiddeling with the settings but still cant get it to do what i want it to do.

I turn all driving aids off and the start sucks. Then when you punch on the gas too much or not enough u either spin out or just understear.

Ive tried all sorts of cars. Only one I can almost get right is the EVO8MR but still has a lot of understear.

Ive been to forums in the past to see how they do it and I still no nintendo.

Well use the most basic heavy car which is actually easier to drift. Buy like a GS300 or a BMW as long as its FR or MR

Don't go all crazy on power, too much HP is bad.

Just the basics I do is:

Engine
Exhaust Race
Chip
Port and Polish
Balance
Stage 1 NA only (turbo cars are tricky, ask ed how he manages)

Drivetrain
Racing Clutch
Racing flywheel
Stock gear box
Drive shaft
Full adj rear diff start with stock settings(I leave it to ed to explain)

Suspenion
Race set up all adjustments
I used to just mess with the spring rates in the rear and make them as soft as possible so you can weight shift.
Height does matter but I've learned to drive with a slammed car which equals slow turning
Camber is pretty much stock, for the rear I set it to around 0.7
Toe starts at 0 but if you want to achieve long drifts start bumping it up a notch

I do all the weight reduction but for start off with the first 2
Tires are N2

Learn to use the E-brake to initiate followed by feathering the gas.
