hey my ps2 clicks all the time. i've left the case unscrewed and i have to open it up and manually move the gears for the cd drive every time before i turn it on. it sucks. one way to help allieviate the problem is to clean the 2 metal rails that the laser unit slides on...

john did you forget that ps2 plays dvdS, ps1 gameS (CDs), ps2 gameS (CDs & DVDs).

Furthermore, DVD changers are only convenient for those who are too lazy load dvds, but the truth is, those changers only have one laser for reading disks. Its not a multiple dvd reader that reads each individual dvd simultaneously.
