but anyway i don't understand the question. there is a huge group of subaru enthusiasts in the los angeles/OC area. come to some meets, talk to some people, and you will fingure out how to get good deals. it's not just going to be handed to you.

well the 1.8 guys arent boxer engines and they are mounted left to right so its not like it is that similar

i think rally car raceing put subaru on the map and making a good car i think McRae helped them out by winning but the market is flooded with cars thats how i think they stood out from all the others imo cuz i wouldnt give a crap about a civic cuz it doesnt win anthing worth anything all they win is show and not go if i wanted show i would buy that but i dont want to look good going slow

Actually Subaru started off with a Legacy in the WRX. Legacy is what sparked the interest. Then they designed the impreza later on. If McRae won the market for us, why isn't he driving for us now. In the US it was Crocodile Dundee(Paul Hogan) who did our marketing and which pushed the sales of the legacy to keep Subaru in the USDM market.
I disagree with you on the whole Civic only being a show car, I've seen plenty of fast civics, Yes there are a lot of show Civics but try to remember its cheaper to make a car look fast.

Actually Subaru started off with a Legacy in the WRX. Legacy is what sparked the interest. Then they designed the impreza later on. If McRae won the market for us, why isn't he driving for us now. In the US it was Crocodile Dundee(Paul Hogan) who did our marketing and which pushed the sales of the legacy to keep Subaru in the USDM market.
I disagree with you on the whole Civic only being a show car, I've seen plenty of fast civics, Yes there are a lot of show Civics but try to remember its cheaper to make a car look fast.
the us maket couldnt get a wrx or sti they only got the rs. McRae made subaru a winner no one is screaming for the skoda to come over here and another funny fact paul hogan was austrialian and he was selling an asain car so what immage were they going for?
yeah ive seen crxs fly (faster than built mustangs and cameros at the illegal street races in compton), but all i am saying is that the majority of civics are show and i agree about how cheap it is to make it look fast ig wing body kit coffie can exhaust
