you know I don't understand why you guys are having problems with yours?
I have an 80gb and Ed has what a 60gb and we leave ours on for days because we would download the vids or other extras for GT5P.
My PS3 has been laying down since day one and (knock on wood) hopefully won't have any problems. I do clean my vents out with a q-tip every now and then and keep it in an open space with lots of air.

so the system/cpu fan doesn't work so hard. plus, ac is broken at the moment and with the valley heat.. it's a killer -.-.

I'm currently dating and banging Mallorie's friend Michelle. Shes ok, I really like her apt.. its pretty cool...
I did flake on her once tho, cause on the way to her apt to pick her up, I somehow was trying to turn off the radio but couldn't, and ADD kicked in when I saw the local Pay 'N Spray, and decided to get a new paint job and repairs to my hachi.. Which consequently advanced 3 hours... In the end, she wasn't mad, I called her back and we set up another date within an hour for some pool, and I totally got laid afterwards..

i think i'm gonna buy one of those laptop coolers to use with the ps3. my fans kick into high only after a minute of starting GTA, and stays that way the entire time. it should help cool it down. right now i have it raised off the shelf since the ps3 retains too much heat otherwise...
