I have the loading issue too. But I figured out a way around it and it works all the time for me. All you have to do is log out of the pan network. To do this all you have to do is go to your name on the buddy list and hit triangle and sign off. Now you can start the game. Once the game has loaded you can to to your phone and start multiplayer and that will sign you in. After that you can play the game logged in with out freezing. And you will be able to get invite for online play. Like I said this works all the time i do it and haven't had a freeze since I start doing this.
