my internet problems still continue, I was only able to play 3 games. Then for some f'n reason I couldn't jump in any other games

you have to do a combo move but it requires an old controller which might be hard to find...
try...
up up down down left right left right B A B A select Start

well the biggest problem can your ps3 connect to the router?
if yes then find out what IP your router assigned for the PS3
then depending on what type of router you have configure it to allow(fowarding certain ports to go to ur ps3
